Can’t even shout, can’t even cry, the Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors, they need to take seven and they might take yours. Can’t call to mom, can’t say a word. You’re gonna die screaming but you won’t be heard.
The scariest villians in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, in my opinion. This guy is one of the Gentleman, for those who don’t know. When they arrive in a town, they steal the voices of everyone so no one can scream when they cut out their heart.
The episode they appear in, season four’s Hush, has only about 17 minutes of dialogue in the 44 minutes it runs for, and ironically, it was the only episode to be nominated for an Emmy Award in Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series.

This is one reason why Buffy the Vampire Slayer is amazing. They’re not only ripping off the Twilight books in a comic book cover, but the Big Bad of season eight is called Twilight” and at one point Buffy even says to him “You listen to me, Twilight — My God, is that really the name you picked? Twilight? Y’know, I lived that idea first, right? (And my vampire was so much better.)”
Also, if you compare Buffy to Twilight, you can see that (other than Buffy being so much better which, frankly, isn’t hard) quite a lot of things that happen in Twilight were in Buffy.
There’s even similarities between Angel and Twilight, specifically Connor and Renesmee.
… This post started as only a photo post to show the Buffy Season Eight comic cover. Whoops.
