We only just got power, which I’m shocked about. I wasn’t expecting it for another day or two, especially considering how big it was. Smaller in scale than the September one, but far closer and shallower to my city. I was in town when it struck, buildings literally falling down in the blocks around me, fuck it was insane and scary. There was dust and dirt everywhere, I saw buildings collapsed which would have had people in them at the time.

I still haven’t fully processed it, and unfortunately I cope with humour and therefore can come off as a bit of a jerk.

Thanks to those who left me messages asking I was okay, I really appreciate it.

I won’t be posting to here at all tonight, unless I come back home at all. I’m spending the night down the road with my mother, aunt and sisters at my great nana’s house with her, without internet, so any updates I do post will be to either my Facebook which most of you can’t see, or to my twitter with my phone.
